The Navajo storm blanket pattern, originating from the western reservation near Tuba City and Kayenta, Arizona, is a symbolic weaving style associated with rainstorms and the growing season, featuring a central rectangle representing the home or sacred space, with lines symbolizing lightning connecting to corner elements representing the four sacred mountains.
