This is my interpretation of an image shown to me on the walls of a ancient temple I am often taken to in meditation. As this painting continued to reveal itself I couldn't help but be reminded of the  many paintings and drawings I have seen of the Tibetan light body.
 
30"x40"x1.5" acrylic on canvas with stones (jet, chiastolite, golden topaz, shiva lingam, lithium quartz, dumortierite, lepidolite)
embedded in the paint is sand from a local lake, the caribbean & ash from incense on my alter
